Ignite Internship Programme is a Government of Kerala initiative, created with the objective of providing opportunities for candidates across Kerala, who are either fresh graduates or awaiting their final year results, and who wish to undertake an internship with any IT/ITES companies within the state.

A. As of now internship fairs are planned to be held at Kozhikode, Kochi and Trivandrum. The dates of the same shall be announced on a time-to-time basis via newspapers, social media and e-mail communications.

A. Yes, companies will be eligible to claim Rs. 5000/month per candidate for up to six months under Ignite Internship programme. However, companies should pay a minimum of Rs 10,000 (including the government stipend of Rs. 5000/month for the duration of six months).
A. The hiring company should contribute a minimum of Rs 5,000 (excluding the government stipend of Rs. 5000/month for the duration of six months).
A. An intern should be eligible for a minimum stipend of Rs 10,000/month from the hiring company ((including the government stipend of Rs. 5000/month for the duration of six months).
A. The hiring companies must raise single invoice at the end of the internship programme (companies are eligible to claim only Rs. 5000/month for a period six months per intern irrespective of the longer duration of internship).

A. No, both the candidate and company should equally register to avail the benefit of the internship scheme.
